Irish Road Trip
From Leprechauns to the Blarney Stone, Ireland packs quite a punch when it comes to great traditions. While I wait for the stars to align so that I visit there someday, I have friends and family that keep giving me a lot of reasons to move Ireland to the top of my bucket list. From what I can tell, driving through the gorgeous countryside, stopping to enjoy a castle and a cliff or two, and then returning back to the Pub at night to tell the tales of the day is where it’s at. Sounds pretty great to me, so in honor of the Irish this month (and my friend who gets to go for the first time in April), I think all of us should take some good Irish music, hit the open road wherever we are, and return to the nearest semblance of an Irish pub we can find to share our stories over a well-poured pint. Of course, it would be extra fun in a cute European car, but I may have to wait for that experience too.
